The goal of Greater Mount Olive (GMO) Christian Academy is to provide a foundation of biblical and educational teaching while demonstrating love and concern to preschoolers and their families. The Academy serves the Greater Baton Rouge Area by providing quality childcare to infants, toddlers and preschoolers ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Children attending the academy are given the opportunity to learn through a variety of educational channels and hands-on activities. We are equipped with a professional staff committed to educating the individual needs of the students. The infants are nurtured and challenged through visual and auditory stimulation while the older children are actively engaged in the ABEKA curriculum. In addition, we offer Reading Readiness, Music, Computer Lab, field trips, creative art and exposure to numbers, letters, colors and shapes.
The Academy is open Monday thru Friday from 6:30 am until 5:30 pm. GMO Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, national origin, disability, ancestry or whether the child is being breastfed in the delivery of services.
